Amboseli National Park Day Safari Tour

Your adventure begins early with a hotel pickup in Nairobi or the airport, setting out on a scenic drive toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for a morning game drive through the park’s wide open plains and marshlands framed by the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. In this first session you’ll hunt for large elephants walking against the mountain’s backdrop, spot buffalo, zebra, giraffe and even lions or cheetahs if you’re lucky. Midday you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch at a lodge overlooking the park, taking in the dramatic landscape and refreshing your energy. After lunch you set off again into the marshy areas where birds flock and hippo wallows glisten in the afternoon sun, before climbing up to Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and Kilimanjaro beyond.
